12-Step

12-Step

Twelve-step programs are the foundation of our recovery process. 12 Step programs are free programs for people suffering from the disease of alcoholism and addiction. They offer companionship, support, and mentoring to millions of people recovering from addictions.

Through our team, you will have access to a wide variety of meetings including AA, NA and other programs. There are at least 12 meetings daily in Flagstaff, AZ. Here are a few examples of addiction, treatment, or recovery meetings available through our team:

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA):

AA is the original 12 step program that was created by Bill Wilson in 1935 in Akron, Ohio. It is a free program for those suffering and recovered from active alcoholism. It is an international program and AA meetings can be found in most cities throughout the world.

Narcotics Anonymous (NA):

NA was founded in 1953 by Jimmy Kinnon and based on the model that Bill Wilson created with AA. Narcotics Anonymous describes itself as a “nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem”. Jimmy K expanded the criteria of membership for those that suffer from addiction to any narcotic substance.

Additional Programs:

Other programs include Gamblers Anonymous (GA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA) and Marijuana Anonymous (MA). All contain tight-knit fellowships of people who are willing to help others on the path to recovery.

The 12 step community of Flagstaff is considerably large and all-inclusive. It contains members of all ages, races, and religions. With so many to choose from, a little coordination and advice are needed. Let Came to Pass Recovery guide you to the correct 12 step program and put you on a path to recovery.
